Vintage 1940s Marx Lithographed Tin Wind Up "George the Drummer Boy" Marching Band Toy. Works. Vintage c.1930s Marx Tin Wind Up Drummer Toy! This toy is constructed of brightly lithographed tin, and features a fixed wind key on the side. The drummer is in a marching band uniform, and the Marx trademark is on his back. When wound up, the drummer will furiously hit the drum making noise.
This vintage Marx Drummer is in very good condition for its age. There is some scratching on the base and drum, but overall the litho remains very vibrant. The wind mechanism is strong and working, and when wound up the toy functions as intended.
