A First Edition set of Robert Crumb's "Heroes of the Blues" Card Set released in 1980 by Yazoo Records, New York. Legendary underground comic artist Robert Crumb - a well-known fan of old-time blues, country, and jazz music created his "Heroes of the Blues" boxed trading card set for Yazoo Records. The biographical text on the back of each card was penned by famed Blues historian and author Stephen Calt. Condition: Color is generally excellent. Cards Are all very good except a fold through The memphis Minnie card. 6 cards have minor discolorations. 2 cards have larger upper left corner spots. The box has rubbing and corner repairs at 2 corners of the top and 2 corners of the bottom. Ther are no dogears.
