Original early antique Arcade Toy Company cast iron McCormick Deering Manure Spreader. The Arcade Toy Company was founded in 1868 as the Novelty Iron Works. The wagon is marked “McCormick Deering” and the wagon tongue is marked “McCormick Deering” on the top and “Arcade Mfg. Co. Freeport, Ill.” on the bottom. The inside of the manure spreader is marked, “402 L”. The left side of the spreader has the very rare original label from Arcade. The wagon has a gear operated mechanism to actuate the auger. The wagon is pulled by a team of two horses, that original to the piece. This is believed to be an all original survivor with original paint and original parts. Measures overall 14”L x 3.5”W
