Antique Vintage Cast Iron "Columbia Bank" Still Bank Kenton 1893-1913 Beautiful cast iron "Columbia Bank" Antique Vintage Cast Iron "Columbia Bank" Still Bank made by the Kenton Toy Company from 1893-1913. The bank is a replica of the Administration Building erected for the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The bank is incredibly detailed and marked "COLUMBIA BANK" over all four doors and "MADE BY THE KENTON HDWRE. M.F.G. CO. KENTON, OHIO U.S.A" and the number 38 on the bottom. No Trap. Has Been Repainted. This bank was made in 4 sizes, this is the second Largest standing 5.75"T x 4.5" Base Moore1070. SA 5201 081019 After the publication of Erik Larson's book, "Devil in the White City" chronicling mass murder H. H. Holmes there remains a lot of interest in the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Only one building remains standing today of the more then 200 constructed, the Fine Arts Building that currently houses the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
