Excellent example of a Kyser & Rex Lion & 2 Monkeys Cast Iron mechanical bank. Has its original paint as Pictured with no damage to the cast iron. To operate, place a coin in the monkeys hand,twist the lever at the tree base and the monkey will jump up as the Lions Mouth Opens and deposits the coin into the lions mouth.The bank is in nice working condition. Bottom plate is Present. Both Original Eyes Present. (see pics). July 17,1883 Patent Date on Bottom. Stands approx 9 1/2" tall 9" Base x 3.5" Wide. Pictures are Part of the Decription.
