Antique J & E Stevens 1896 William Working Tell Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. Original used condition. Patented in 1896 by the J&E Stevens Company, this auction is for an authentic, 19th Century Cast Iron Mechanical Bank, depicting William Tell about to shoot an apple off of his son’s head ringing a bell on the inside of the castle. The apple is present which is sometimes broken off. This Cast Iron Bank measures 10 ½” long by 6 ¾” tall by 3 ½” wide. The original first paint is in excellent condition with only a minimal of wear! MArked on Bottom with patent date Has it's coin trap. Please look at the pictures closely. Great original condition. SA 5227 020820
