Spring loaded pocket coin holder. An attractive antique Art Nouveau coin holder. Typical swirling flora design of the Art Nouveau era embossed in a silver plated brass. There are various different coin denominations on the top of the holder which can be pushed down and the relevant coin inserted and held secure. Holds Six Pence, Three Pence, One Shilling, Two Shillings, Half Crown Coins.Marked on the reverse with J.W and B in a shield (The Lower part of the shield is worn off which would have contained the "B") cartouche, c1910's. Condition is very good.
The top and bottom of the holder is ornately engraved brass. The box is 7 cm (2 3/4 in) long by 5.7 cm (2 1/4 wide) and 1.4 cm ( 1/2 in) deep. SA 5240 020820.
