Vintage Outstanding WW2 World War II One personal distinguishing flag Wool distinguishing flag Marked Rear Admiral SR 6. The field of the flag is blue with two white stars as the charge. The Fabric at the hoist reads "Rear Admiral SR 6". The distinguishing flag is the flag flown by a superior officer on their flagship (hence the term flag ship). The material appears to be wool and does have some moth holes in the fabric seen when put on contrasting background. There is what appears to be blood on the hoist. One Grommet is missing. A wonderful artifact. Please see photos for condition. Guaranteed original. Display and Background items in photos not included. Size 40 x 60". Attn: This Flag came from the estate of Norman Allison of Fowlerville MI now deceased. It was part of an extensive military collection.
